PACKAGES FOR PARENTS:

Pi Educational Assessment offers the following services to parents and carers:

•  Assessment of phonics, spelling, reading comprehension and basic maths skills.

•  Assessment of receptive (spoken) vocabulary.

•  Advanced assessment of reading and maths skills.

•  Dyslexia and Visual Stress screening.

Assessments will be carried out at your home. Upon completion, we provide a detailed report of our findings which will include recommendations for support, and further referrals if needed (e.g. to an Educational or Clinical Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist, etc.). In addition, we can support you with your application for, or review of, an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

How to apply: If you would like an informal chat or to book a meeting, please use our ‘Book a Meeting’ facility (below bottom).

Checklist (Parents)

•  Do you have children/young people in Reception to Year 13 who experience difficulties engaging with teaching and learning?

•  Do they struggle to meet expected progress?

•  Are they sufficiently challenged?

•  Does their behaviour result in exclusions?

•  Have former interventions been unsuccessful?

•  Would a more specialist view be useful?

•  Are you able to meet pupils’ academic needs?

•  Would you like help applying for or reviewing an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)?

We perform a wide range of internationally recognised assessments in order to establish an in-depth profile of the specific needs of your child or young person.

We provide detailed reports of our findings which will outline what steps should be taken next and what support should be provided.

Assessments will be carried out in a suitable quiet space within the school*. We aim, where possible, to feedback our initial report by the end of the same working day.

BOOK A MEETING:

If you would like an informal chat or to book a meeting to discuss what we offer, please use our ‘Book a Meeting’ facility (below). You can also use the 'Upload' facilities to attach any supportive evidence* which you feel will be relevant to your child's assessment (e.g. letters from their GP, school reports, and certificates etc.).

* Maximum file size is 15mb per file. Accepted formats:  .doc .docx .jpg .pdf .png .xls
